In 2011, Box Hill Community Arts Centre is celebrating 21 years as an active and growing hub for arts and cultural community groups.

To coincide with the 21st Birthday celebrations Box Hill Community Arts Centre is holding it's 4th Biennial Art Competition.  The theme chosen for this competition is 'Transformation' in recognition of the enormous growth of the Centre's activities and community involvement over the past 21 years.  The major prize for this competition is a $3000 cash award and an opportunity for the winning artist to mount a free solo exhibition in the Centre gallery in 2012.  The exhibition of finalist works will be on display from 11-23 October.
