Site Navigation

The site has an intuitive structure that makes it easy to navigate. The simple design allows users to make a choice from the topics on the left of the screen. Alternatively, users can type key words into the search engine. There is also a site map that lists all the pages on the site.

'Breadcrumb trails’ show where users are in the site, Users can click on ‘Home’, the first topic on the left to the home page.

Printer-friendly Option

Pages on this site have a printer friendly option which places the information users wish to print on an easy-to-read page, removing menu panels and graphic elements. 

Text Resizing 

The size of the text on the website can be increased or decreased text sizes by clicking on words at the bootom of the main menu panel at the left of screen. 

Accessibility

This website has been designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.0. The guidelines include providing text alternatives for non-text content (alt caps for all images); making content available to assistive technologies; using sufficient contrast to make things easy to see; making text readable and understandable; and making content appear and operate in predictable ways.

This site has been designed to be compatible with all major browsers. Minimum resolution for optimal viewing is 1024 x 768 at 256 colours.
