Over 1000 paper cranes that were made by Box Hill Community Arts Centre users, Community Residents & Staff from the City of Whitehorse during Matsudo Week were recently displayed at the Hiroshima Day Peace Concert @ The Melbourne Town Hall on Saturday 9th August 2008.
About 200 people attended this event which included 7 performers and special guest speakers Jenny Farrar, Mayors for Peace & Prof. Tilman Ruff from the Medical Association for Prevention of War.
