Hello my name is Jacinta, my Assistance Dog JP and I have been attending BHCAC for many years now, so much that we feel like it’s our second home. We have been shown great care and empathy by all at the centre.
I have explored so many creative classes and through the process it has helped me to manage my mental health. I have explored using glass and tiles, paint, pencils, clay, mixed media, wool, dyeing, bookbinding, water marbling, stitching, bees wax wraps, basket weaving, life drawing, water marbling, mixed media, stencilling , printing, tai-chi and the list goes on.
My practice is to explore, create, ‘play’ everyday, my intention is to experiment without judgement, with a joyful heart and to share this with my friends and others as often as possible.
BHCAC has given me the opportunity, environment and encouragement to learn more than I could ever have imagined. I am abundantly grateful for the friendship, companionship, expertise, professionalism and acceptance of all the amazing staff. You make such a difference in my life.
