The Community Arts Centre has been our club’s home for the entire 30 years. We had been tenants of the old SEC building it replaced. The architects asked what requirements our craft would need in the new building so that we have a gully trap and an external power point for dyeing, storage for teaching looms, wheels and our library. We have had spin-ins, fashion parades and exhibitions and used every part of the gathering spaces in this lovely building.

30 YEARS AT BHCAC
BHCAC has been our home since opening in 1990. We reflect on 30 wonderful years of learning, creating, inspiring and mentoring through prize winning Show entries, fashion parades, exhibitions, workshops and much valued friendships. We love this building and all it has meant to our community.
A flowering cherry tree, with plaque, was planted outside Drycraft East in memory of our President in 1990, Margaret Brush.
