During the 2020 lockdown, BHCAC had to get creative to engage with their loved community. Classes and workshops were reimagined and connection took place via online channels. April and May Art Challenges were invented, weekly online exhibitions took place and zoom classes became the norm. Tutors provided their wise words of wisdom to inspire their students to keep creating during lockdown and shared what they had created whilst spending time at home. Student artists submitted their masterpieces to be selected as Student Artist of the Week and featured on the BHCAC social media sights. The focus of connection and sharing artistic inspiration and creations allowed the BHCAC community to stay connected, be inspired and ease the pressure of lockdown via creativity.
