For 30 years BHCAC has offered term courses and workshops throughout the year that have been delivered by talented tutors and successful artists. People have been inspired to unleash their inner artist and express themselves, whether that be whilst they sit at the wheel in the ceramics studio or stand at an easel in the drycraft rooms. Offering an array of classes including ceramics, visual arts, craft, music and lifestyle, there has been something on offer that has delighted, inspired and enriched the lives of many.
In 1994, it was decided that the adults were not only ones to have all the fun, and the School Holiday Program was implemented. It has played an integral role at the Box Hill Community Art Centre. Kids of all ages have grown up spending their school holidays painting portraits, sculpting clay masterpieces, crafting, weaving, singing, dancing and most of all, having FUN!
The creativity and imagination demonstrated by all the wonderful participants has consistently inspired BHCAC staff to deliver unique, fun, all-inclusive programs that cater for the needs of diverse community groups.
