Art Work Mediums
2D (PAINTING, DRAWING, PRINTMAKING & PHOTOGRAPHY)
3D (CERAMICS, MOSAICS, NEEDLEWORK, WEAVING & SCULPTURE)
DIGITAL ARTWORK (VIDEO or SOUND)
All Art Works must be dry!
Must not contain or be made from hazardous materials.
All Art Works must come with Artwork Labels (Title, Medium, Dimensions, Year)
Artworks will NOT be for sale.
2D Prize (PAINTING)
Cannot be larger than 40cm x 40cm
Paintings require a wire on the back or picture framing triangles to hang from hanging tracks. The Box Hill Community Art Centre (BHCAC) can attach wire and hooks to works; however, instructions can be viewed on the website if you wish to do it yourself.

2D Prize (DRAWING, PRINTMAKING & PHOTOGRAPHY)
Cannot be large than 40cm x 40cm
Drawings, Printmaking & Photography must be framed with a hanging hook on the back.
Example
3D (CERAMICS, MOSAICS, NEEDLEWORK, WEAVING & SCULPTURE)
Cannot be large than 30cm x 30cm
It cannot be heavier than 1.5kg
DIGITAL ARTWORK (VIDEO or SOUND)
Must be formatted to MP3 or MP4
VIDEO (No longer than 10 minutes)
SOUND (No longer than 5 minutes)
We will try to be accommodating and supportive of artists who cannot meet these conditions.
However, Box Hill Community Arts Centre reserves the right not to exhibit artwork that doesn’t meet the conditions of entry and contains inappropriate content for an exhibition with underage participants.
The registration link will appear on this website on September 1st and will close on September 30th.
After registering, you will receive an email regarding when and how to deliver or submit your artwork.
