This exhibition is a celebration of diversity and inclusion.
All artists are asked to respond to the prompt of Pride & Joy, then to represent that as a Portrait or Self Portrait in any artistic and conceptual manner they wish, with particular emphasis on our LGBTQIA+ community, diversity, and inclusion.
All artists of our community, including LGBTQIA+artists, are encouraged to apply to participate. However, the Box Hill Community Art Centre reserve the right to accept or not accept an artwork based on their judgment reflecting the spirit of the Midsumma Festival.
